SeatGuru Seat Map United (2024)

My 23F seat is sold as Economy plus (extra fee). This maybe one of the best seats in this 757-300 economy class, given the extremely large extra legroom due to no seat in front of it. Surely worth the extra fee if you’re considering economy plus option.

Contrary to SeatGuru's published info, 22B did have under-seat storage, but the seat did not recline. I don't know if leg room is more than regular economy, but if so, it's not much. Note also that the tray table is in the seat in front of me. Also, the armrest on the window side cannot be raised.

One of the most uncomfortable seats I've sat in, and I'm a UGS/MM flyer. The full flight had few seat choices, and as a tall guy (6'1") I decided to try the front row. Terrible choice!1) NARROW - The width of the seat is strangely small. I think this is mostly because the plane's body curves in and has a bump right where the seat is, so my left arm was pressed against the wall the entire flight. And sitting normally, my right arm was well into my neighbor's side. My shoulders might be a bit broader than some, but I'm not huge - only 180 lbs. I sat for 6 hours squeezing my shoulders together to not offend my neighbor.2) DOOR BLOCKS LEGROOM - The leg room is not really infinite. The main cabin door is right in front of the seat, which has a HUGE bulge, presumably for the inflatable slide raft. This means I had to sit at an angle to get my feet past the bulge.3) NO STORAGE - There's no storage under the seat. And, overhead storage on this plane is strangely limited, so I had to go back to row 15 before I found a place for my small bag. (I boarded with Group 2.) It was obvious I wouldn't have underseat storage, but I was surprised that the overhead compartments started farther back.4) SMALL TABLE - The in-armrest table was very small and flimsy. With my (loaner) 15" MacBook Pro on the table, there wasn't even room for a cup of soda. The table also does not adjust or slide forward/backward.On the bright side, there is a power outlet below the seat and wifi was functional (albiet slow).

This seat, as are ALL other Economy seats on this version of the 757, a disaster for people with long legs. I have flown on this flight twice in the last six weeks (22E, 36A) and have had excruciating knee pain throughout the flight and for days afterward. I simply cannot find a way to sit in 757 seats without both knees being wedged against the seat frame in front of me. The first flight left me bloodied and ruined a pair of pants. The second flight I was better prepared and created cushions out of napkins that I stuck between my knees and the seat frame in front of me. No blood this time but the constant pressure bruised both knees. I tried a different seat on my second flight and it was just as bad as the first one.

Seat 2B: the air circulation system in this plane is a bit noisy, and was especially noticeable in this aisle seat - bring some ear plugs.

There is a conspicuous lake of windows on the United 757-300. I couldn't see the exterior of the plane, but on the interior it looks as though they blocked off the majority of the windows

22B and 22C do not recline, and have more limited leg room (unlike other Exit row seats). The tray tables are in the seat in front of you, not in the armrest as suggested here.

Even with the 2018/2019 packing in of more seats into thIs 757-300 bird, the ENORMOUS footwell cutouts under the coat closet in front of seats 1A and 1B are still there. These seats should most defimitely be GREEN just as they were in the prior configuration. Can easily fit a roller bag in the cutout that would normally go in the overhead bin, plus there is no one reclining into you. Seats 1E and 1F do not have any kind of cutout and legroom is restricted, no floor storage. The typical worn out AC power outlet (no usb) that causes plugs to fall out constantly is there. Seats are newer and leather but very hard with no lumbar support at all, bring something like a coat to stuff in tbe small of your back if possible. Reclining shifts the seat base forward. Breakfast was quite tasty.
