SeatGuru Seat Map Delta (2024)

Delta needs to STOP saying this is a window seat. It's a garbage seat with wall--no window--so if you're claustrophobic (which is why you likely want the window seat to begin with), walking down the aisle to find this blatant lie is infuriating. Has to be what a casket feels like. Cramped, trapped, awful. Quit advertising this as a window seat!

Very comfortable with ample kneeroom. I was able to cross my legs. Plenty of seat width and elbow room. Flight from DTW to MCO, although was long enough (950 miles, 2.6 hours) for a meal, the timing was not (dinner is served on departures 4-8pm, we left at 3:29). So, we were offered snacks, which were all carbs. Even though a meal was not served, I think a more substantial snack should be offered. Entrance to aircraft is thru mid-door. Therefore, after boarding, turn left to first class seats. This provides more privacy because other pax are not coming forward to use restroom, but it takes longer to deplane because all classes leaving thru mid-door.

Agree with the plenty of extra leg room provided with no seat in front of you however, better have good eyes if you want to see the monitor as it is 2 rows ahead. Otherwise great seat!

I agree with another reviewer calling this a "slaveship". This was NOT First Class, more like Comfort++. I'm a perfectly average 5'10" male, and when the person in 3A reclined, my knees were in the seatback. Impossible to get up without seatmate getting up. Breakfast inedible, and Minneapolis based flight crew should be reassigned to United or American because they were downright surly and rude, atypical for the usual friendly Delta flight crews. Avoid this plane.

A bit tight due to alignment with window on plane.

Row 23 has NO WINDOW!

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2019/02/02 for Seat 49C

This is by far, THE worst seat in all of aviation history. I have never had a more cramped, loud, uncomfortable, uncaring, inhospitable, and miserable experience in my life. I will hitchhike from Vegas to Detroit before I fly this "Slaveship in the Air" again.

Row 19 seats on this plane are NOT standard Comfort+ seats. It is labeled Comfort, but pitch is noticeably closer than other Comfort seat rows. I didn't have a way to measure, but I can tell you the legroom was identical to main cabin. Everyone in row 19 agreed that this was the most cramped "Comfort" seat they had ever been in. I'm a Delta Diamond; I fly a lot. To call this row a Comfort seat is false advertising.

This seat is COMPLETE GARBAGE. There's NO WINDOW. There's no foot space under your own seat (not for storage...just for your feet--because there's an equipment box jammed in there). This should not even BE an option for a seat on this plane, especially when folks who reserve window seats typically NEED them because of claustrophobia or a fear of flying.

Comfortable but noisy aircraft. Recommend noise cancelling headsets.

Very comfortable although no foot rest.. Legroom more than adequate. Tough for window occupant to get past the center arm rest. Need to grab seat back of seat in row 2 for support.

I found this seat exceptional comfortable with plenty of room. The aircraft was also as clean as any I've flown. I'd definitely sit in this seat again on this plan.

Love 1D - even though you're at the bulkhead, you feel like you have much more room since no one reclines in front of you and you can sort of 'spill out' to your right against the window. I'm 6'2" and I prefer these bulkheads to the other seats. I like these better than the bulkheads on the 737s which do feel constrained.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2017/10/06 for Seat 1b

Decent seat.IFE is on the wall. Service was spectacular. There is limited foot space secondary to the bulkhead. Id not call it restricted but I'd say its less.

The warning says the seat "might not" recline. I confirm that it does not recline AT ALL. Also found that meal options for purchase were limited because service starts at front of plane and they ran out of meals by the time they reached row 40

These are considered "preferred" seats where we paid an extra $35 to have these seats. What they didnt tell us when we called in to book them is they dont recline because of the exit row behind them. I wouldnt pay extra for these seats again.

There is no storage under the seat in front due to the bathrooms, which might be problematic for some. Miles of legroom, though. Personal entertainment flips up from between the seats.

This is the Seattle to Minneapolis leg of the flight. As another mentioned, the aisle seats on both sides have strikingly small under-seat storage (unlike the center and window). If you need to put a good size bag under there, you will not be able to also put your feet/legs.

This seat is in the Comfort+ section. This seat was of decent width and the pitch was pretty good as well. I am 5'9" and slim so I fit easily in most seats. There is seatback entertainment on this plane. The service was also very good on this 3.5 hour flight from MSP to LAX. Besides the free wine I had they also served us coffee mid flight and brought the snacks by a couple of times. The flight fuel menu was available on this flight but I passed on that. Even though this was a full flight, I did not feel cramped. The lav is also just a few rows in front of row 18 so that is convenient as well. I would recommend any seat in row 18 on this 757-300.

The exit door blocks a lot of the legroom. There is no storage overhead or under the seat in front This is not a desirable seat.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2017/03/23 for Seat 15F

The most uncomfortable Delta Comfort seat I can remember. Extremely cramped for a three-hour flight from LAS to MSP. The extra legroom was all that kept it bearable.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2017/03/04 for Seat 34f

On this red-eye I was planning to sleep from SLC to ATL. Sadly with the "improved" Delta seat this was uncomfortable in the extreme. The seat pan sliding forward when you try to recline the seat meant that even with nothing beneath the seat in front of me there was no room for my feet or knees with the seat reclined. Padding on the seat also seemed microscopic adding to the discomfort.

Submitted by Kelley F on 2017/03/03 for Seat 6C

This business class seat is roomy and comfortable. Plenty of recline even with the storage locker behind it.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2017/01/22 for Seat 38F

The seat was very cramped. As soon as the person in front of my reclined their seat I felt crushed.

Submitted by Brian B on 2016/10/03 for Seat 18C

The space under the aisle seats is semi-limited due to the spacing of the legs of the seats in the row in front of you. The window seat appeared to have the most width of storage under the seat.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/09/11 for Seat 15A

This seat is next to the entry door which may be bothersome during boarding. Also, the slide on the exit door juts out into the leg room.

Submitted by Richard P on 2016/02/29 for Seat 14E

14E is next to a huge exit door that has no window, and you're too far from the door to lean on it to sleep. Overhead space is behind you.

This interior has been modernized and is very pleasant. Leather seats, large touch screen videos, many channels. Seats 16D and 17D were premium economy and had good legroom and were comfortable. This was a Hawaii flight, DL was much more pleasant than the UAL 777 we flew out in same class.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2014/10/12 for Seat 14D

This seat should be discounted instead of charged extra for. The extra legroom is unusable because the galley is so close. Every person walking to the lavatory bumps your arm due to the seat positioning. These 757s are very noisy. Take a different aircraft if possible.
